My filming journey kicked off in Canada, chasing my mates through snow and mud with a camera in hand, before moving to Queenstown where that passion evolved further. From snowboarding edits and downhill MTB runs to filming tourism campaigns and co-producing a GoPro skate film that screened in LA, I’ve always been drawn to real, fast-paced, unscripted moments.

Then weddings came along, and it felt like a natural extension of the way I already loved to shoot.

Over the past 13 years, I’ve filmed & photographed more than 220 weddings across New Zealand, from intimate elopements on windswept cliffs to luxury Queenstown celebrations with guest lists full of well-known faces. No matter the size or setting, my approach stays the same. Keep things relaxed, stay present, and create a film that feels honest and true to the day.

I shoot with a Netflix-approved cinema camera setup, but gear only goes so far. What matters most is the story. The laughs, the tears, the quiet moments, and the energy that unfolds naturally.

I’m based in sunny Māpua, Nelson with my wife Laura and our two boys, and I travel throughout New Zealand and beyond, capturing weddings for couples who want something timeless, genuine, and a little bit epic!
