Hi, my name is Josh and filmmaking + Photography is what I love to do.

My passion for filmmaking began with capturing myself & my mate's snowboarding and downhill mountain biking, I was later given the opportunity to be part of a production team filming a series of Chinese tourism web videos which lead to filming a GoPro skate video for the International Skate Film Festival in LA and much more.

My journey to creating wedding films began when living in Queenstown, after my first wedding I was hooked! I love the creative freedom I have with weddings, they're all about fun and having an amazing time!

I am based in sunny Mapua just out of Nelson with my beautiful wife Laura and our two sons,

Dylan - 4  & Marley - 1 1/2 .

 

I love to travel all over NZ and abroad to capture a couple's big day.

I think that it is super important that we do our best to minimise our impact on our environment, Choice Studios is completely paperless and we are working on offsetting our carbon emissions for any travel that we do throughout the year.
